Financial Assistance Program
The Rose Bowl Aquatics Center offers a Financial Assistance Program to ensure that all families have the opportunity to participate in our diving programs, regardless of financial circumstances. This program is designed to support those who may need help covering the costs of membership, training, and competition fees. By providing scholarships, RBAC aims to make our high-quality coaching and facilities accessible to every aspiring diver.
We believe that financial barriers should never stand in the way of a child's passion for diving, and we are committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive community for all.
RBAC Policy
A financial assistance program shall exist that awards a reduction in program fees for qualifying applicants and their dependents based upon established criteria. A 50% or 75% award level exists for City of Pasadena residents, and a 50% reduction for non-Pasadena residents.
- Applicants may only receive financial assistance for one program at a time; those with multiple children/dependents may have only one award per child/dependent for one program at a time.
- For Competitive Teams/Club/Masters Swim, an application needs to be submitted every quarter. Financial Assistance will be awarded for 3 months at a time: January – March; April – June; July – September; October – December.
- Applicants must reapply after each award is utilized.
- Financial Assistance does not guarantee enrollment in the desired program.
- Apply up to 30 days prior but no later than 7 days before the start date of the program.
- Financial Assistance cannot be retroactively applied.
